New for Tax Year 2025

Form 1099-DA is new for tax year 2025. To streamline the tax prep experience of taxpayers and tax preparers, Form 1099-DA producers should provide the form data as well as the form image. The Financial Data Exchange organization has created the data schema described below for this purpose. The data may be delivered via separate file download, API, or embedded inside the form PDF file.
